Sébastien Chambet

Freefly & Freestyle National Team Coach / Technical Expert

With more than 16000 skydives and over twenty years in the sport, I’ve dedicated my career to pushing performance in freefly and freestyle, both as an athlete and as a coach.

I hold the Brevet d’État d’Éducateur Sportif, the CQP Video-Photo Operator, the CQP 3D Wind Tunnel Instructor, and the DEJEPS Entraînement Sportif, which give me a complete technical background to coach athletes from their first jumps to high-level performance.

From 2009 to 2016, I was part of the French National Team, earning 5 French Champion titles, 2 Freestyle World Championships, a European title, and several World and European silver medals experiences that shaped my vision of elite performance.

Since 2011, I’ve been the Head Coach of the French Artistic Teams (Freefly & Freestyle), leading national athletes, building high-level training programs, and guiding the next generation of performers.

Beyond coaching, I co-authored the technical book “Les Sauts d’Angle”, wrote and co-directed several 52-minute documentaries for France Télévisions and CANAL+, and I regularly speak about risk management, decision-making, and performance.

What drives me today is the same passion that has guided me since the beginning: helping athletes grow, push their limits, and become safer, more confident flyers.
